CO₂ reductions

Most scientists now agree that global warming is a fact, and the increase in Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere is a strong contributing factor to the increase in temperature we are seeing.

In agreement with the Energy Savings Trust, we recommend changing to low energy light bulbs, adding cavity wall and loft insulation and lowering the central heating temperature by a degree or so. These measures could reduce your energy consumption by 10-20% - with a commensurate reduction in CO₂ generation.

However, if you want to do more and make a real impact, the choices for us as individuals appear somewhat limited.
